Anyone who has tried to photograph art knows it can prove a bit tricky. Sometimes portions of the art or frame are reflective and detract from the beauty of the piece. I recently invested in a light modification system to solve this problem and had the opportunity to try it on a friend’s paintings. Here’s a sample of the resulting images:



Debra Tomblin is an emerging artist who lives in Pike Road, AL.
She likes to paint what she knows: her pets (2 dogs and 4 cats), farm animals, and florals. She takes weekly classes at SAC’s Gallery. She works primarily in acrylics but enjoys also adding inks, gold leaf, pencil, and anything else within reach.
SAC’s Gallery is currently sponsoring an exhibit of Debra’s art at Starbucks 6501 Atlanta Hwy in the Oliver Creek Crossings 36117. The show is from October 1st through the end of November 2025.All paintings are for sale.
