There are probably very few people in Alabama who haven’t heard of Bates House of Turkey. The Bates Turkey Farm family has been producing the finest quality turkeys for over 100 years. Their turkeys are free range, grown in Alabama in a stress-free environment.
I had the pleasure of working with them recently in their Greenville location to photograph some of their menu options for an updated website.
The owners wanted the background of the photographs to be on their wood tabletops as that is a recognizable feature in the shop. We started with some of their turkey options and moved on to their turkey dinners and sandwiches.
We finished the day with homemade soups and gumbo made from old family recipes.
I brought back some of their merchandise to the studio so they could be photographed on a white background.
