My newest texture set features layered PSD files that lend a torn edge look to your images. These also allow for a color change on the background. These are a little different than previous sets because they come in standard print sizes of 16×20 (which can also print as an 8×10), 11×14, 5×7, 4×6, a square format and a web-optimized version for a facebook timeline.
For information on using a clipping mask in Photoshop refer to this post: https://photographybydiannapaulk.com/2020/08/17/tea-bag-art/
Here’s how to change the background color to complement your image.
After dropping and adjusting your image onto the mask layer, click on the “drop color here” layer. Click on your paint bucket tool in the toolbar, move your cursor over your image to the color you want to use, hold down your option key and click on the color, then drop the color onto the drop color here layer. You can continue to click around with the option key and dropping the color until you’re satisfied with the image. Then flatten and save with a new file name.
These images print beautifully on Red River Paper’s 60-lb paper canvas and on Canon’s Matte Photo Paper.
